What we store on your device, what we do not, and how to change your answer at any time.
The short version
We use one analytics tool, PostHog, hosted in the European Union, to see which pages are read and where people get stuck. We do not advertise to you, we do not sell or share anything about you, and nothing we store is used to follow you to other websites.
If you are in the EU, the EEA, the UK or Switzerland, we ask first and store nothing until you answer. Elsewhere, analytics start when you arrive and you can switch them off whenever you like, using cookie settings.
If you accept
PostHog stores the following on this device. They are first-party: they are readable only by beanpartner.com, never by another site.
| Name | Kind | What it holds | Lifetime |
|---|---|---|---|
ph_phc_…_posthog | Cookie and local storage | A random id for this browser, the current session id, which site you arrived from, and cached feature-flag values. No name, no email, nothing you typed. | 365 days |
ph_phc_…_window_id and ph_phc_…_session_registered_properties | Session storage | Tells two tabs apart within one visit, and holds what is true of this visit rather than of you. | Until the tab closes |
The events go to PostHog’s EU cloud, and they travel by way of this domain rather than posthog.com, which is why you will see requests to beanpartner.com/relay in your browser tools.
If you decline
Nothing is stored on your device at all — no cookie, no local storage. We still count the visit, but from the other end: PostHog’s servers turn your IP address and browser into an irreversible hash using a secret that changes every day and is then deleted. It cannot be turned back into an IP address, it cannot be matched to you tomorrow, and it carries no location.
So we learn that a page was read. We do not learn by whom, from where, or whether you had been here before. Session recording and surveys stay off entirely.
If your browser already said no
If you send a Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track signal, we honour it and never ask: nothing is stored and nothing is collected, including the hash above. We will not show you a banner that pretends your browser setting is up for negotiation.
Things we store whether or not you accept
These are not analytics. Each one exists only to make something you asked for work, and none of them is used to learn anything about you.

bp_consent | Cookie on .beanpartner.com | Your answer to the question on this page: yes or no. Shared across beanpartner.com, launch.beanpartner.com and manage.beanpartner.com so you are asked once rather than three times. | 365 days |
bp:build | Local storage | The plan you put together on the pricing page, so it is still there if you come back to it. | Until you clear it |
bp_token | Cookie, manage.beanpartner.com | Keeps you signed in to the platform admin. Only set if you sign in. | The session |
payload-token | Cookie, /admin | Keeps an editor signed in to the content system. Only set if you sign in. | The session |
Other companies
Adobe Fonts serves two of the typefaces on this site, so your browser fetches them from use.typekit.net and Adobe sees that request. No cookie is set here for it.
Cloudflare sits in front of the site and carries the traffic. It sets no cookie on these pages.
Stripe handles payment, on Stripe’s own pages. Nothing of Stripe’s runs here; you reach it only by starting a checkout, and what it does there is covered by Stripe’s privacy notice.
Changing your mind
Open cookie settings — the same link is in the footer of every page — and choose again. Declining after having accepted deletes what was stored. Clearing your browser’s cookies for this site also clears your answer, and we will ask again.
